toss the script, but keep your notes

yum- it's saturday morning. iced coffee, chocolate chip pancakes and my pajamas for a little longer.
---
after working a full day, meeting up with brittney and ashten, me solely driving 13.5 straight hours to NYC and not being able to sleep all but 2 hours once we arrived.. i was out of it for a few days. glad to report i'm back to normal now.

i'm going to start some new things. i have some great, inspiring ideas and i'm a little anxious to get back into the swing of my portfolio this quarter.

last spring, i used to play on a soccer league at north ave every friday night. it was the perfect ending to the week, it helped everything come together... and then i woke up early saturday mornings. well, mostly i wake up early every morning. i really enjoy saturday mornings. they're the first morning of the weekend, so there are still all these things you want to do rather than just relax. i don't know, i like that feeling. last night, we played soccer at a facility i hadn't before-chitown futbol-it was phenomenal! ...exactly what i needed. defensive. i'm a defensive player and i scored 3 goals.

watch these movies;
>brothers
>up in the air
>the rebound
>brief interviews with hideous men
>an education

these may or may not make you laugh;

(307): mom asked me why i'm never sober at family events, i told her i learned it from her.

(239): I mean we're not committed. He's my first choice, sort of like miller lite. When I'm at the bar I'm going to order one, but if they don't maybe I'll go for a bud or blue moon. I'm certainly not going to stop drinking

(318): tonight lets celebrate not being married

(701): I just found out you can file for divorce online. I love America.

_ if you want it, come and get it.. for crying out loud.

i've been needing to post all of these for a while-

the abc's of branding-
this is what finals do-

ASH!
SFO!

ahhh packaging!

I want to work for a paper company. Or own my own letterpress company. Those are mostly in weird, far out cities in Kansas or something. I'm not willing to be swayed on the whole Kansas thing.

Finals are over. Finals at work.. are not. The end is always full of a lot of pressure, deadlines and ultimately, extremities.

This past weekend I got really dressed up. It was this thing I hadn't felt in a long time. That's the girl inside of me coming out.

other than that- the holidays ring in cheer, booze and grooves. happy holidays!

Got radio? GET MUSIC.

I have one of the most influential professors this quarter. It is absolutely refreshing in one thousand ways. I have so much work left to do before Wednesday. It's one of those things where I don't even want to count down the days because I want there to be more days and more time. As tired as I am of finals, I would like more time.

I think I say this in every single post, but I am happy.

Two of my best friends started working at Tech. Speaking of, it's the end of our quarter at work as well as at school. Slammed! Guess it's a good thing I'm good under pressure.

I am so excited for events post finals. They include:
Painting the wall in my apartment
Photographing the Joeffrey Ballet (aleeeeex! :D)
The German Christmas festival at the plaza
Movies, Plays
Ice Skating
Hot chocolate, lattes
Baking
Christmas Music
Buying Presents
Getting mad that I have to wrap presents without my moms wrapping stuff
A serious massage
DRESSES & HEELS
Snowmobiling
Personal Branding
Wine!
DANCING ALL NIGHT
Jlo, beyonce
Nat King Cole
Eating great food
Ciders, mm!
Friends at home
Friends here
Brothers
Actually being able to watch some hockey

Tonight is precious. I'm currently sitting in a living room on a RED couch with my booties on and the most comfortable shirt ever. The only lights in the room are two computer screens and a christmas tree lit up... and christmas tunes are playing.

Like I said, I'm happy. Enjoy yourselves and have a happy holiday season. YUM!

ink is the new black

I moved. I moved into a place worth going >> photos soon.

I am happy. It is undeniable that I am one of the happiest.

Justin and lil mums came down to help me move. What a.. blast? haha. We had a good time. We took a trip to Schaumburg to IKEA and enjoyed a small other part for US. The rest was for getting things settled in. That's ok.. for now.

I had someone follow me. Momentarily. And it has scared me for three weeks. It's interesting how an incident can make you so aware and so freaked out. I had stopped watching scary movies all of the sudden. I realized it October of 2008. I remember the evening exactly when I remembered my taste in cinema had flipped and hadn't noticed for almost two years. Shows you how into movies I am. HEH. I'm just bad at watching them.

Anyway, I don't watch scary movies anymore. The only violence I'm interested in seeing is stuff from Keanu Reeves or Schwarzenager, etc.. the good violence. So, I saw Law Abiding Citizen and not only did I barely sleep for about 3 nights.. I also cried during the movie and at one point, had to walk out of the theatre.

This is the same person who was in the theatre the opening night for SAW I and SAW II, FYI.

To add to the list of things I am not okay with:
violence, intended violence
people suffering
deceit

Lately:
ideas
feist
soccer
organizing
coffee
warmth that swoons the cold

sacramento/san fran on sunday.. ;)
babygurl better get some work done!
